FAQ
What is Birikki?
Birikki is a Tashkent service where a family pays for a month of groceries upfront in one payment, then picks them up in parts over 35 days with a QR code at a pickup point near home.
How does the fixed price work?
The price is set on the day you pay and stays the same all month, even if prices go up in stores.
How much cheaper is it than a store?
Usually 1–2% below the regular price. The supplier gets paid in advance and saves on storage, write-offs and purchase loans — part of those savings goes into the price.
How do I pick up my groceries?
In parts, whenever it suits you, within 35 days: show your QR code at the pickup point and they hand over the amount you need.
What if my groceries aren’t handed over?
If an item isn’t handed over, you get a refund to your card.
Where is Birikki available?
In Tashkent. The service starts as a pilot in one district, then pickup points will open in other parts of the city.
What groceries can I buy?
Family staples for the month: rice, flour, grains, oil, sugar, pasta, vegetables and more from the catalog. Prices are in UZS per kilogram, liter or piece.
